The Periodic Inspection Basic Training Evaluation Board Meeting was held.
A protocol regarding the training of individuals authorized to conduct periodic inspections of work equipment was signed, and an Evaluation Board Meeting was held at İSGÜM on December 7, 2018, with the organizations providing training in pilot provinces.
The meeting, hosted by İSGÜM and coordinated by the Work Equipment Unit, was attended by representatives from the Turkish Standards Institute, the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, the Ministry of National Education, and the Legislation Affairs Department of our General Directorate. During the meeting, Ali Kaan ÇOKTU, the Work Equipment Unit Head and Occupational Safety and Health Specialist, gave a presentation to the representatives, providing information about the process.
The opinions and suggestions of the institution officials who participated in the meeting were taken into consideration regarding the process, and views were exchanged on the standardization of the training curriculum. Discussions were also held regarding the plan to transform basic training into equipment-based advanced training modules in the future.
