How is periodic inspection carried out?
AES Innovation's periodic inspection process is completed in four stages:
1. Field Survey: An inventory of all emergency lighting and directional fixtures is taken and marked on the layout plan.
2. Function and Battery Test: Short-term and long-term tests are applied to each luminaire in accordance with EN 50172 and TS EN 54 test procedures. Battery capacity, lamp current, and charging circuit are measured.
3. Visual Inspection: The luminaire housing, cable connections, emergency exit signage, and sign integrity are checked.
4. Reporting and Documentation: The inspection report, prepared within the scope of the competence of a Type A inspection body, includes the identified nonconformities, measurement results, and corrective action recommendations.
