Yes. Grounding measurements are a legal requirement under the Regulations on Grounding in Electrical Installations and the Regulations on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment. They must be carried out periodically in industrial facilities.

It should generally be done at least once a year. However, this period may be shorter depending on the facility's risk class, working conditions, and environmental factors.

Grounding resistance measurement, continuity test, equipotential connection check, protective conductor checks of panel and machine housings, and lightning protection system measurements are performed.

Grounding periodic inspection reports are generally valid for one year. For official inspections, a current, signed, and approved report issued within the last year is required.

Grounding measurements must be carried out by authorized and expert engineers using measuring devices that comply with relevant standards. Reports prepared by accredited inspection organizations have official validity.

Inadequate or faulty grounding can cause electric shock, fire, equipment damage, and production loss. It can also result in administrative penalties and fines during official inspections.
