AES Innovation

Guaranteeing Occupational Safety and Legal Compliance

Electrical internal installation inspection is one of the most critical control processes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in businesses. Regular electrical internal installation inspections are a legal requirement to prevent electrical accidents in workplaces and to protect life and property. As AES Innovation, we offer comprehensive electrical internal installation inspection services in industrial facilities with our TÜRKAK accredited laboratory.

The Electrical Installation Regulations and the Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment Regulations detail how periodic inspections of electrical installations should be carried out. As of September 1, 2025, the use of standard report formats determined by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security has become mandatory. This regulation has standardized electrical installation inspections and clarified reporting processes.

Scope of the Regulation on Electrical Internal Installation Inspection

How to Obtain an Electrical Installation Inspection Report?

  • Comprehensive Facility Inspections and Measurements are Performed: Grounding resistance, insulation resistance, RCD (residual current device) tests, phase-to-ground/phase-to-neutral impedance measurements, thermal camera scans, and all visual inspections are performed.
  • All equipment and systems are examined in detail:
Electrical panels, cable connections, distribution systems, compensation panels, motors, elevator installations, and all other electrical infrastructure are technically evaluated.
  • Measurement results and discrepancies are reported:
The results of each test are recorded. Any deficiencies, non-conformities, and risky situations are detailed.
  • If compliance is achieved, an official inspection report is issued.
If all checks are satisfactory, an "Electrical Installation Compliance Report" is prepared. The report includes installation information, engineering certifications, equipment calibrations, and all results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Electrical internal installation inspections are the most effective way to guarantee safety and operational continuity in your workplace. At AES Innovation, we perform electrical inspections to the highest standards in your facilities with our TÜRKAK accredited laboratory and expert engineering team.

The periodic inspection interval for electrical installations varies depending on the intended use and risk level of the facility. Generally, electrical installation inspections should be carried out once a year. The report is valid for one year from the date of issuance, after which a re-inspection of the installation is mandatory. This period can be shortened, especially in high-risk facilities and industrial areas.

Electrical internal installation inspections can only be performed by authorized and certified electrical engineers. Independent Consulting Engineers (SMMs) holding a "Inspection and Reporting of Electrical Internal Installations" certificate issued by the Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) are authorized to perform these inspections. At AES Innovation, we conduct inspections in accordance with the TS HD 60364-6 standard with our team of experienced and certified electrical engineers.

Unless otherwise specified in the relevant standards, all electrical installations, including grounding systems, must undergo periodic inspections once a year. Therefore, your report is valid for one year.

Depending on the size of the facility, an electrical internal installation inspection in an average business is completed within 1-3 days. This period may be longer in extensive industrial facilities.

Businesses that fail to have their electrical installations periodically inspected are subject to administrative fines under occupational health and safety regulations. Furthermore, employers are held responsible for any accidents that may occur due to uninspected installations.

The electrical internal installation inspection report is submitted to the business owner, the Occupational Health and Safety unit, and, if requested, to the inspectors of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

TURKAK accreditation guarantees that tests and measurements are performed using reliable and repeatable methods in accordance with international standards. Reports issued by accredited laboratories have legal validity.
