ATEX / Ex-Proof Training
Short answer: ATEX / Ex-Proof Training covers the fundamentals of explosive atmospheres, zone classification, Ex protection types, and equipment selection/installation/maintenance according to the TS EN 60079 series.
In explosive environments, even a small spark can have catastrophic consequences. Correct area classification and the selection of appropriate Ex-grade equipment are fundamental to explosion protection.
Who should attend?
- Maintenance/operation personnel working in explosive environments
- Electrical and mechanical engineers
- Occupational safety and health specialists
- Technical staff selecting/purchasing ex-equipment
Educational Content (Curriculum)
- Fundamentals of explosive atmospheres: gas, vapor, dust.
- Zone classification: Zone 0/1/2 and Zone 20/21/22
