Periodic Inspections of Grounding Systems
Ministry Approved – Compliant with RegulationsIs Your Grounding Inspection Truly Ready for the 2025 Regulations?
Grounding Inspection 2025 Regulation
Electrical safety regulations are being rewritten. New periodic inspection forms, which will become mandatory on September 1, 2025, are making grounding system inspections more detailed and standardized than ever before. This means that a significant portion of existing installations may not pass inspection in their current state. So, how ready is your installation for this radical change?
Why is this control now more critical?

The measurement is insufficient:
The Real Issue is the System's Reaction
We often see this: Companies have a grounding measurement done and put the report in the file. This is a big misconception. In fact, this is just the beginning. A low resistance value alone doesn't mean anything. What happens when there is a leakage in a device? That's the critical question. What we are checking is whether this leakage current will damage the protective device—that is, the fuse or residual current device (RCD)—it's about whether it triggers and cuts off the power instantly. In RCD tests, the tripping current and time are measured. A 30mA relay... In less than 200 milliseconds It needs to open the circuit. If it doesn't, that relay is just a box. Even more importantly, there's selectivity. That is, when there's a problem with a machine, only that machine's fuse blows, not the main switchboard that cuts off power to the entire factory.

Serious Defects
According to the new audit criteria, the following situations are directly affected: gross fault and you will not be permitted to operate that part of the facility until these defects are rectified:
