Work Equipment Periodic Inspection Specialist Course

“The "Periodic Inspection of Work Equipment Specialist Course" was launched with an opening ceremony held at the Ankara Chamber of Industry's Continuous Education Center.

The opening ceremony of the in-service training course was attended by İsmail ÇOLAK, General Director of Support Services at the Ministry of National Education; Sedat YENİDÜNYA, General Director of Occupational Health and Safety at the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services; Erol TEKÇE, President of İSGÜM; M. Nurettin ÖZDEBİR, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ankara Chamber of Industry; Niyazi AKDAŞ, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ankara 1st Organized Industrial Zone; academics, faculty members, Ministry officials, and course participants.

In accordance with the Communiqué on the Registration and Training of Persons Authorized to Conduct Periodic Inspections of Work Equipment, published on October 1, 2017, individuals authorized to conduct periodic inspections are registered in the EKIPNET system and then become competent to perform periodic inspections after receiving basic training at authorized institutions.

The basic training process, which began with a pilot program in Kırıkkale and Eskişehir, concluded on June 17, 2019, with the approval of our Minister, and basic training began to be expanded nationwide. In this context, the Ministry of National Education, one of the authorized institutions, organized a basic training program titled "Periodic Inspection of Work Equipment Specialist Course" for 99 technical personnel operating within its own structure at the Ankara Chamber of Industry Continuous Education Center on October 14, 2019.

It was reported that approximately 150 people received training in October under the Vocational Education and Skill Development Cooperation Protocol (MEGİP), with guaranteed employment, and that this number is expected to increase to 360 in a short time.
