Electrical Engineering Group Advanced Training Module Preparation Workshop
Within the framework of activities to prevent possible occupational accidents during the use of work equipment, our Ministry, the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety, and the Presidency of the Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development Institute have carried out the following: October 12, 2021 A workshop titled "Preparation of Advanced Training Modules for Individuals Who Will Conduct Periodic Inspections of Work Equipment" is being held at the Dedeman Bostancı Istanbul Hotel on [Date]. The workshop is attended by labor experts, chief labor inspectors, representatives from TSE (Turkish Standards Institution) and EMO (Turkish Chamber of Electrical Engineers), accredited inspection bodies, sector associations, and experts in the field. Participants are expressing their views on standardizing periodic inspection reports prepared in accordance with the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment, determining inspection criteria, harmonizing training and examination materials, and other standardization and certification issues in periodic inspection processes. At the end of the workshop, advanced training modules on electrical installations, grounding, and lightning protection for periodic inspections of electrical equipment will be prepared.
