Workshop on Periodic Inspection of Equipment Used in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres
The General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety of our Ministry, the Presidency of the Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development Institute, and the Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) of the Union of Turkish Chambers of Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) organized a workshop titled "Periodic Inspection Workshop of Equipment Used in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres" in İzmir on October 5-6, 2022, between 10:00 and 17:00. Representatives and experts from the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), the Electrical Installation Engineers Association (ETMD), the Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO), the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO), and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), as well as other competent individuals in the field, participated in the workshop and presented their views and suggestions. Topics such as advanced training for the periodic inspection of equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres, periodic inspection practices, and conformity checks were addressed based on the verbal and written suggestions of the participants.
