Especially in shopping mall store decorations and boutique furniture production, lighting and power lines to the outlet are often routed behind narrow wooden and particleboard profiles. Although wood has high insulation properties, it contains highly flammable synthetic glue and varnish.


International standards have imposed strict requirements on the thermal tolerances, impact-resistant protection, and loosening of junction box points for these transformer and socket lines integrated into furniture. Details of Wooden Plumbing Inspection

  • Flame Retardant (Halogen Free) Insulation:
    The cables, which are routed between the wooden panels, are confirmed to be double-insulated and designed to prevent flames from spreading throughout the cabinet in the event of a fire.
  • Overheating (Thermal) Points:
    The accumulation of heat above +65°C, which can cause fires, is prevented in the airless cabinets of recessed LED/lighting transformers.
  • Recessed Socket Protection:
    The recessed electrical outlet boxes screwed to the countertop/cabinet are checked for flexing and any broken grounding connections.
