SONCAP is a mandatory, pre-shipment conformity assessment program conducted by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) for regulated products imported into Nigeria. For Turkish manufacturers, this process, a prerequisite for customs clearance, involves two key documents: a product-specific Product Certificate (PC) and a SONCAP Certificate (SC) specific to each shipment.

UFLPA requires importers to prove with 'clear and convincing evidence' that goods entering the U.S. were not produced in China's Xinjiang region or by companies on the Entity List. For Turkish producers using Chinese-origin cotton, polysilicon, or other intermediate goods, supply chain traceability is now a prerequisite for access to the U.S. market.
