{"id":2839,"date":"2026-04-09T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aesinn.com\/?p=2839"},"modified":"2026-03-08T01:55:02","modified_gmt":"2026-03-07T22:55:02","slug":"yuruyen-merdiven-bant-standardindaki-degisiklikler-calistayi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aesinn.com\/en\/yuruyen-merdiven-bant-standardindaki-degisiklikler-calistayi\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop on Changes in Escalator\/Moving Walkway Standards"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"some-info\">\n<h4 style=\"text-align:  justify; margin:  0pt 0pt 8pt; line-height:  1.07917\"><span style=\"color:  #34495e\">\u201cThe workshop titled &quot;Changes in Escalator\/Moving Walkway Standards&quot; was held on January 18, 2019, at the Tepekule Congress and Exhibition Center in Izmir.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align:  justify; margin:  0pt 0pt 8pt; line-height:  1.07917\">A workshop was held at the \u0130zmir branch of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) to mark the entry into force of the TS EN 115-1:2017 Safety for Escalators and Moving Walkways - Part 1: Construction and Installation standard on January 31, 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:  justify; margin:  0pt 0pt 8pt; line-height:  1.07917\">In addition to the Occupational Safety and Health Institute (\u0130SG\u00dcM) \u2013 Work Equipment Unit, 38 representatives from the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB), Unite Elevator and Escalator Industry and Trade Inc., L\u00f6her Elevator Industry and Trade Inc., Buga Otis Elevator Industry and Trade Inc., Schindler T\u00fcrkeli Elevator Industry Inc., Kone Elevator Industry and Trade Inc., Ake Elevator Materials Marketing Ltd. Co., Thyssenkrupp Elevator Industry and Trade Inc., and Hyundai Elevator T\u00fcrkiye participated. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:  justify; margin:  0pt 0pt 8pt; line-height:  1.07917\">During the workshop, significant changes in standards such as the design of escalators and moving walkways exposed to seismic conditions were discussed, as well as periodic inspections of escalators\/moving walkways and the conditions for placing escalators\/moving walkways on the market after January 31, 2019, under the 2006\/42\/EC Machinery Safety Directive.
