Enerji kalitesine yakla\u015f\u0131m \u00fcretici, iletici, da\u011f\u0131t\u0131c\u0131 ve t\u00fcketici firma aras\u0131ndaki bir ekip \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ile sa\u011flanabilece\u011finden, her birinin sorumluluklar\u0131n\u0131 bilmesi ve yerine getirmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 gerekmektedir.Elektrik enerjisi bir \u00fcr\u00fcn olarak de\u011ferlendirilmeli ve belirli kalite kriterlerini sa\u011flamal\u0131d\u0131r. Enerji ve sistem kapasitesinin optimum kullan\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak i\u00e7in, enerji kalitesi problemleri giderilmeli ve kalitesizli\u011fe neden olan problemler kayna\u011f\u0131nda \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclmelidir. Bozucu etkiler \u00fcretim, iletim, da\u011f\u0131t\u0131m ve t\u00fcketici giri\u015flerinde kaydedilmelidir. Sistemde kalitesizliklerden dolay\u0131 elde edilen veriler uzmanlar taraf\u0131n-dan analiz edilmelidir.Kaliteli bir elektrik enerjisi sa\u011flayabilmek i\u00e7in;\u2022enerjinin s\u00fcreklili\u011fi (kararl\u0131 hal),\u2022gerilim ve frekans\u0131n sabitli\u011fi,\u2022g\u00fc\u00e7 fakt\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcn bire yak\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131,\u2022faz gerilimlerinin dengeli olmas\u0131,\u2022ak\u0131m ve gerilimdeki harmonik miktarlar\u0131n\u0131n belirli de\u011ferlerde kalmas\u0131gibi bir tak\u0131m kriterlerin g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcne al\u0131nmas\u0131 gereklidir.Enerji kalitesinin ekonomik etkisi g\u00f6z ard\u0131 edilemeyecek seviyededir. Avrupa Birli\u011fi \u00fclkelerinde yap\u0131lan bir ara\u015ft\u0131rmada, elektrik enerjisi kalite problemlerinin end\u00fcstride ve ticari alanlarda meydana getirdi\u011fi zarar\u0131n y\u0131lda 10 Milyar Euro oldu\u011fu tahmin edilmektedir. Kalite problemlerinin giderilmesi i\u00e7in yap\u0131lan harcamalar ise tahminen bu rakam\u0131n %5\u2019i civar\u0131ndad\u0131r.Enerji kalite \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda bir tak\u0131m tan\u0131mlamalar ve standart de\u011ferlerin bulunmas\u0131 ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmazd\u0131r. Enerji kalitesi ile ilgili s\u0131n\u0131rlay\u0131c\u0131 bir standard\u0131n olmamas\u0131 durumunda, elektrik enerjisi \u00fcreticisi ve t\u00fcketicisi aras\u0131nda kabul edilen kaliteli enerji tan\u0131m\u0131nda farkl\u0131l\u0131klar g\u00f6r\u00fclebilmektedir. G\u00fc\u00e7 kalitesi, t\u00fcketici odakl\u0131 olan bir konudur ve bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 olarak son kullan\u0131c\u0131 temel al\u0131nmal\u0131d\u0131r.
